BET Award 2018 Best R&B Artists

The BET Awards for Best R&B/Pop Artist is split between the overall best male and female contemporary R&B and soul singers who have released an album the previous or same year. As of 2016, Beyoncé has won the most BET Awards for Best Female R&B Artist with six wins. Also, as of 2016, Chris Brown has won the most BET Awards for Best Male R&B Artist with four wins. Robin Thicke and Justin Timberlake are the only caucasian artists to be nominated for this award.

2018 BET Experience doesn’t kick off for another month, but the network has already struck a deal to ensure it sticks around for three more years. BET and Anschutz Entertainment Group have renewed their deal to continue the multi-day festival through 2018, a representative for the festival told The Times on Thursday. 2018 BET Awards Full Show

The 2018 BET Award were handed out Sunday night at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The show, which honors artists, actors and athletes across 20 categories, also featured tributes to Prince by a slew of artists, including Jennifer Hudson and Stevie Wonder, and a surprise performance by Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar.
